Venue Overview

Located in the heart of Brunswick East, Teller brings new life to a heritage-listed former bank building on iconic Lygon Street. More than just a restaurant, Teller is a warm and welcoming space where community and connection come first—an extension of home for locals and visitors alike.

Audio System Objectives

The audio system for Teller was designed with the following core objectives:

  • To create an inviting and high-quality audio atmosphere, emphasizing warm, balanced sound at background music levels.
  • To ensure the system is user-friendly, allowing venue staff to easily control the audio environment without technical complexities.
  • Higher SPL and Performance in the Function Spaces.
  • To provide a reliable audio system that operates consistently during all business hours.

System Architecture

The system is zoned into eight areas: Dining Room, Courtyard, Annex, Stairs, Corridors, Bathrooms, Function, and Pavilion. It supports multiple inputs, including two streaming devices and three DJ connections. Two NST VMX88 DSP Matrix Processors manage the audio, and three NST VR1 wall panels provide control.

DSP – Site Wide

  • 3 x NST VR1 Wall Controller: For user control of zones and presets.

Amplification – Site Wide

  • 3 x Quest QX4300 4 x 300W Power Amplifier
